There are many attractions in the area to take advantage of
while you are staying in our cabins.

Perrot State Park
located one mile west for Perrot State Park, where the
Trempealeau River meets the Mississippi River, has 1,270
acres of diverse ecosystems. The river bank and surrounding
wetlands provide wonderful habitat for the many migratory
birds that travel through this area. It has 12.5 miles of
hiking trails, 9 miles cross country ski trails, access to
Great River State bicycle trail. boat landing, and a 3.4
mile canoe trail through Trempealeau Bay.

The Mississippi River
offers many opportunities for bird watching, fishing,
hunting, canoeing and skiing.

Great River State
Trail, The Chamber of Commerce offers an
annual Spring Bicycle Tour with a 10-mile fun ride and 25
or 50 mile tours. Trempealeau can also be your starting
point to enjoy more than 100 miles of Western Wisconsin's
State Bicycle Trail corridor which includes the Lacrosse
River, Elroy-Sparta and the "400" State Trails to the
south.

Wildlife Refuge - This 6200 acre refuge
lies within the Mississippi River flyway. It offers hiking,
biking, skiing or driving opportunities though it’s rich
rolling sand prairies, marshes, and hardwood forest. Also
offers hunting and fishing.

Lock and Dam # 6
- You can view a variety of boats, barges and scenery from
the observation tower of Lock and Dam 6, located close to
downtown Trempealeau

Long Lake Canoe Trail
- The canoe trail takes you through the Upper Mississippi
River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge. Approximately 4
1/2 miles long and about a two hour trip for the average
canoeist.
